2023 Custom 18x56

This 2023 Custom 18x56 is a purpose-built aluminum runabout powered by a 40 hp Gator Tail engine. With only 11.5 hours of operation, the boat represents a comprehensive engine build featuring Stage 3 EFI tuning and extensive internal modifications.

The powerplant has been extensively reworked throughout. The cylinder head features ported intake and throttle body throat, worked head castings, and stainless steel valves paired with an upgraded valve spring kit using billet retainers and shims. The rotating assembly includes a Stage 3 billet cam with custom grind, billet 1.5 roller rockers, billet push rods, and billet connecting rods. Pistons have been shaved, and the engine runs a Stage 3 tuned ECM calibrated for 93 octane fuel only. Gaskets are modern multi-layer steel and Cometic units, with a Voodoo exhaust system managing spent gases.

The minimal run time reflects the recent completion of this build, with all major systems still in their early operational phase.
