The OPALIA 51 is an aluminium sloop designed by Vincent Lebailly Yacht Design and built by Normandy Yacht Service. Launched in 2024, this custom sailing yacht combines robust construction with a thoughtful interior by Pierre Frutschi. The hull features twin rudders and a hydraulic canting centerboard, with a chine design suited to long-range cruising and ocean passages. A single 115 hp Nanni diesel engine provides inboard propulsion.
The yacht accommodates three cabins and two heads, with sleeping for eight including a dinette area. This layout supports both family cruising and short-handed sailing, offering flexibility for different voyage profiles. The aluminium construction provides durability and resistance to weathering, while the centerboard design grants access to shallow anchorages.
The boat is equipped for extended ocean voyaging and varied sea conditions. Built and maintained to a high standard, the yacht is ready for immediate use.
