2023 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Catamaran

The 2023 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built for comfortable offshore cruising. At 41 feet long with a 24-foot beam, she delivers the stability and spaciousness that defines the Astrea design. Twin 100-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines provide cruising speeds around 6 knots and a top speed of 8 knots.

The yacht offers four private cabins, each with its own ensuite head, along with a shared fourth head. This layout suits both two-couple arrangements with separate hulls and larger family groups. The saloon and cockpit benefit from full weather enclosures and air-conditioning throughout, while underwater lights add evening ambiance.

Systems supporting extended cruising include a 1,200-watt solar array, Victron inverter-charger, 9-kilowatt generator, watermaker, and Starlink satellite connectivity. Navigation relies on a Garmin premium electronics package. The yacht carries a dinghy with serviced outboard and includes paddleboards and fishing gear.

The catamaran underwent engine and outboard service in July 2024, with antifouling renewal completed. A professional survey was conducted. Linens, crockery, and galley equipment are aboard.
