2023 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Catamaran

The 2023 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 is a catamaran delivered in June 2023 and configured as a three-cabin, two-head owner's layout. Twin Volvo Penta diesel engines, each rated at 100 horsepower, provide the primary propulsion across the 41-foot hull and 23-foot beam.

The boat carries a comprehensive suite of cruising systems including a 180-litre-per-hour watermaker, diesel generator, and full air conditioning throughout. Navigation electronics are fully equipped for extended passages. Power is complemented by a set of Hydranet sails, with a downwind gennaker and Oxley sail completing the inventory.

The catamaran has completed transatlantic passages in both 2023 and early 2025, with the boat laid up each winter. It remains in good overall condition.
