2023 Hanse 460

The 2023 Hanse 460 is a modern cruising yacht designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, measuring 47 feet 11 inches in length with a 15-foot 9-inch beam. Built from composite, the hull features a medium-draft L-shaped keel and displaces approximately 12.5 tons. Power comes from an 80-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine with saildrive and a three-blade folding propeller. The yacht carries 210 liters of fuel and 450 liters of fresh water, with a Fischer Panda 10000i generator providing 8kW of power. It holds Category A ocean certification.

The sail plan emphasizes ease of handling, with a self-tacking jib and in-mast furling mainsail, complemented by a Quantum vertical-battened main and gennaker with snuffer. The rig includes an upgraded Lewmar Evo primary winch package plus secondary winches. A single rudder provides precise control. Deck features include zero-maintenance non-slip side decks, Flexiteak cockpit flooring, twin helm stations with full instrumentation, a spacious cockpit with folding electric table, swim platform, and telescopic tender davits. A 3.1-meter inflatable tender with aluminum bottom and 6-horsepower Yamaha outboard are included.

Interior layout offers three double cabins plus a convertible saloon berth, accommodating up to eight people total, with two bathrooms featuring separate showers and electric flush toilets. The saloon showcases mahogany joinery, teak and holly flooring, large hull windows, and skylights, with an electrically adjustable table. Equipment includes a 28,000-BTU air conditioning system, dual refrigeration with separate freezer, washer-dryer combination, and 24-volt retractable bow thruster with dedicated battery.

Systems for extended cruising include a 320-ampere-hour AGM service battery bank, 100-ampere charger, 2,600-watt inverter, Dessalator watermaker producing 110 liters per hour, pressurized freshwater inlet and deck wash, Iridium Go satellite communications, and MyHanse Safety Cloud remote monitoring. Navigation suite by B&G comprises twin Zeus3S 9-inch plotters, Halo 20+ radar, Triton2 instruments with autopilot and remote control, AIS transceiver, and VHF with DSC.
