The Lagoon 42 is a modern catamaran designed around open-plan living and social spaces. The hull is fiberglass, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 horsepower each. The broad beam of over 25 feet supports generous deck areas and a spacious cockpit, while panoramic windows flood the interior with light.

The yacht accommodates four cabins, with four heads distributed throughout. The layout prioritizes comfort for families or charter operations, with air conditioning and heating throughout. Additional systems include a watermaker for self-sufficiency and expanded refrigeration capacity, comprising both fridge and freezer units. Two extra berths supplement the cabin bunks.
