2023 Lagoon 46

This 2023 Lagoon 46 catamaran combines spacious cruising accommodations with operational simplicity and modern energy systems. The 46-foot beam-on hull measures 26 feet across the beam, providing the stability and interior volume characteristic of the design. Two Yanmar diesel engines rated at 114 hp each deliver a cruising speed of 6 knots and maximum speed of 8 knots.

The layout includes three cabins and three heads, suited for extended cruising with a full crew or comfortable living for a smaller group. The boat features a bow thruster and Dockmate wireless docking system for ease of handling, while the furling mainsail simplifies sail management. Short-handed operation is straightforward with these systems in place.

The catamaran runs on an all-electric setup powered by an extensive solar panel array, eliminating the need for a gas installation. All onboard appliances have been converted to electric operation. The refrigeration and freezer system was selected to perform efficiently while minimizing condensation, a common challenge in marine environments.
