The 2023 NEEL 43 is a high-performance catamaran designed for cruising and blue water passages. Awarded Sailing World Boat of the Year, it combines stability with speed and pointing ability. The 43-foot hull spans 24.5 feet across the beam and features an air draft of 62 feet, suitable for Intracoastal Waterway transit. Power comes from a single 50-horsepower Volvo D2 diesel engine with just 600 hours of use.
The interior comprises three staterooms and one head, laid out for extended offshore cruising. The boat is extensively equipped for self-sufficient voyaging with a 5-kilowatt generator (300 hours), 1,700 amp-hour battery bank combining lithium and AGM chemistry, and a 2-kilowatt solar array. Water systems include a watermaker and a six-stage galley filtration system. Climate control maintains comfort throughout the yacht.
Additional systems reflect preparation for remote operation. Starlink provides connectivity at sea. A security system protects the boat. Exterior features include full enclosures over the helm station and aft deck for weather protection. A Highfield 310 tender with a 6-horsepower Honda outboard is included for dinghy operations. The yacht is USCG documented.
