The Outremer 55 is a performance cruising catamaran designed by VPLP and built by the French shipyard Outremer. At nearly 55 feet with a 27-foot beam, she combines offshore capability with refined living space. Two Volvo Penta diesel engines of 120 horsepower provide auxiliary power. The hull is composite construction, built to handle extended ocean passages while maintaining comfort underway and at anchor.
This 2023 model features a carbon mast and structural reinforcement beam paired with a premium sail wardrobe in Elvström carbon and Technora materials, delivering both power and durability across long distances. Power generation is handled by a Fisher Panda 10000i generator and an extensive 2050-watt solar array, supporting extended autonomy in remote anchorages. The yacht carries a comprehensive technical setup designed for independent living at sea.
The interior is configured as a three-cabin owner's version with real oak veneer throughout, creating a warm and contemporary atmosphere. All cabins include air conditioning, and a full heating system serves colder climates. The forward port hull incorporates a flexible space called "My Free Space," designed for storage, work, or personal projects. Galley equipment includes Miele appliances and other premium fixtures integrated thoughtfully throughout the boat.
Delivered new in 2023, this yacht completed an initial sailing program in the Mediterranean before being transported to northern Europe. She has been carefully maintained and presents in outstanding condition, ready for immediate use.
