The 2023 Regulator 28 is a center console built on a fiberglass hull designed for offshore fishing. The boat is powered by twin Yamaha F300 engines with Helm Master EX and AutoPilot, equipped with joystick control, and has logged only 150 hours. The Lou Codega-designed hull provides the characteristic sharp bow entry and ride quality the builder is known for.
The boat carries a full suite of electronics: dual Garmin 16-inch 8616 XS multifunction displays, a GMR 424 xHD 4kw open array radar, Serious XM 54 weather antenna, VHF with 8-foot AIS antenna, and an Airmar B275LHW widebeam 1kw transducer. An upgraded Fusion Apollo 770 marine stereo with ten backlit speakers and subwoofer provides the audio system. Navigation and autopilot data display on a Garmin CL5 screen. A battery charger is aboard.
The boat is outfitted for fishing work: Gemlux bases support eighteen-foot carbon fiber collapsible outrigger poles, and seatback rod holders are installed throughout. A transom walkthrough tuna door and flip-up forward seat backrests offer flexibility for boarding and fishing operations. The rigging station benefits from optional T-Top rocket launchers and a Taco Grand Slam outrigger package.
Comfort and weather protection include a fiberglass hard top with full glass windshield enclosure and vent, white powder coating package, and optional forward sun shade. A cockpit SureShade and a 28-inch sunbed table are fitted. An Edson wheel provides helm control. The console includes an electric head with six-gallon holding tank and pump-out system.
