The 2023 Sea Fox 228 Commander is a center console powered by a single Yamaha F200XB engine with 981 hours of operation. The boat has an 8-person capacity and measures 22 feet 4 inches in length with an 8-foot 6-inch beam. Engine compression readings are 210, 205, 210, and 215 psi. The engine recently completed its 1000-hour service, which included the 100-hour, 300-hour, and timing belt and tensioner replacements.

The boat is equipped with a T-top, 9-inch Garmin chartplotter, Bluetooth stereo system, VHF radio, trim tabs, hydraulic steering, and a washdown system. The layout includes forward helm seating, bow seating with a pop-out backrest, aft seating, and a deluxe leaning post.
