2023 Sea Fox 228 Commander

The 2023 Sea Fox 228 Commander is a center console built on a fiberglass hull, measuring 22 feet 4 inches long with an 8-foot 6-inch beam. It runs on a single Yamaha F200XB outboard with 1,073 hours on the engine. The boat has an eight-person capacity and includes a head compartment suitable for a portable toilet or additional storage.

The helm setup features forward seating, an aft seating area, and a deluxe leaning post. The bow has seating with a pop-out backrest. The boat is equipped with a T-top for weather protection, a 9-inch Garmin GPS display, Fusion Bluetooth stereo system, VHF radio, trim tabs, dual live wells, compass, live well net storage, hydraulic steering, and a wash-down system.

The engine recently completed its 1,000-hour service, which included the 100-hour, 300-hour, and timing belt and tensioner replacements. Engine hours are distributed across the RPM range, with the majority logged between 0 and 1,000 RPM (495 hours) and 3,000 to 4,000 RPM (184.5 hours). The interior cushioning and stitching work will require attention and future repair.
