The 2023 World Cat 400 DC-X is a 39-foot fiberglass catamaran built for cruising and fishing. Twin Yamaha 425-horsepower engines with electronic controls and joystick steering provide the power to reach 40 knots at top speed, with a cruising speed of 24 knots. The beam spans just under 13 feet, offering stability and interior volume typical of the platform.
The helm area features a U-shaped lounge with cushioning and a filler seat. A Sureshade and forward sunshade in harbor grey provide sun protection on the fly bridge. The starboard transom includes a summer kitchen in white onyx, while port and starboard bow table filler cushions complete the seating arrangement. The Glendinning Cablemaster handles the 50-amp shore power cord.
Electronics include twin 17-inch displays, a Garmin 24-inch dome radar, GSD 25 sounder, VHF with AIS 800, and a GHP autopilot. A FLIR thermal camera adds capability for night operation. SeaKeeper 6 gyrostabilizer reduces roll in beam seas. The boat carries a 200-quart insulated fish box and comes with side and drop curtains for weather protection. Both the Yamaha engine warranty and World Cat hull warranty transfer to the next owner.
