2023 Yellowfin 42 Offshore

The 2023 Yellowfin 42 Offshore is a center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by four Mercury engines delivering 2,400 total horsepower. The boat reaches a top speed of 73 knots and cruises at 50 knots. It measures 42 feet in length with a 12-foot beam and includes Mercury joystick control at both the helm and tower station.

The helm station and tower are equipped with extensive electronics. Navigation and fishfinding are handled by three Garmin multifunction displays (two 24-inch units at the helm and one 12-inch in the tower), Garmin autopilot, and Garmin XHD Open Array radar. Additional electronics include a 3KW transducer, Flir night vision, Garmin VHF radios with units at both helm and tower, Garmin camera, and Vessel View displays. The boat also carries a Tracvision KVH television system, a Gost security system with beam sensors, and a substantial JL Audio sound system with multiple speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers paired with a Fusion Bluetooth stereo head unit.

Deck and operational features include a custom marlin tower with touring seat, bow thruster with dual controls, windlass, quick stabilizer, light bar with spreader lights and accent lighting, and underwater lights. The hardtop is oversized with a double rod rack. A custom tower-mounted console features black-painted faceplate detailing, and the helm includes a black Edson steering wheel mirrored in the tower. The seating layout offers double-row captain chairs at the helm and a front lounger with integrated storage and cooler.

The boat includes a cabin with shower and toilet, transom and floor live-wells, oversized fish boxes, a pull-out rear cooler, and a dive door. The upholstery features custom two-tone double diamond stitching. The exterior displays a Matterhorn white hull under wrap with Shark Gray coloring under the hardtop, complemented by textured black powder coating throughout. Carbon fiber internal outriggers by Gemlux are fitted, and the engines carry an extended Mercury Platinum warranty through December 2030.
