2024 Bavaria Cruiser 37

The 2024 Bavaria Cruiser 37 is a modern fiberglass sailing yacht built for coastal and blue-water cruising. At 37 feet long with a 12-foot beam, it combines responsive sailing characteristics with practical accommodations. Power comes from a single 28-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine, capable of pushing the yacht to 9 knots maximum and 6.5 knots cruising speed. The folding three-blade propeller minimizes drag under sail.

The layout includes two cabins and one head, providing comfortable sleeping and sanitary facilities for extended voyages. The saloon features mahogany wood trim, wenge flooring, and upgraded Opus artificial leather upholstery. A diesel-fired 4-kilowatt heating system with outlets in the salon and cabins ensures comfort in cooler waters. The galley is equipped with a microwave, white laminate countertops, and a 20-liter water heater. Fresh water capacity totals 150 liters with an additional tank below the forward berth. An electric toilet and large upholstered sea thwarts complete the accommodation package.

Sailing capability is enhanced through the Sport Sailing Package: a full-batten mainsail with lazy bag and jacks, a furling jib with UV protection, and an Elvstrom Code 0 with Selden CX furler mounted on a GRP bowsprit. Twin manual winches manage the Code 0 and gennaker gear. Dyneema halyards reduce weight aloft, while a rodkicker with gas spring aids sail handling. A bow thruster with dedicated battery provides maneuvering assistance in tight quarters.

Navigation and electronics are comprehensive: a Raymarine Zeus3 9-inch multifunction display with integrated Wi-Fi serves as the command center, supported by two Triton2 digital displays at the cockpit table. Radar, autopilot with remote control, B&G wind vane, depth and speed transducers, and a Class B AIS transponder with wireless VHF handset provide full situational awareness. Entertainment includes a Fusion Apollo marine stereo system with speakers in both salon and cockpit. The teak cockpit floor and swim platform offer durability and traditional aesthetics. Deck hardware includes six stainless steel mooring cleats, an electric windlass, 50 meters of galvanized chain, a 10-kilogram anchor, and a complete mooring kit with fenders and lines.
