2024 Custom Barge

This 2024 custom aluminum barge measures 35 feet long with an 11-foot beam and features heavy-duty 6061 aluminum construction throughout. The hull is built with 2-by-4 aluminum framing, quarter-inch sides, and three-eighths-inch bottom plating. Two Yamaha 115 hp engines power the boat, each fitted with stainless steel propellers and backed by manufacturer warranty. The 120-gallon aluminum fuel tank supports extended operation, while a hydraulic pack with three-inch through-hull water intake accommodates jet pump systems.

The boat's working deck spans the full length and is covered in two-by-ten wood planking. Six-inch power spuds facilitate positioning and anchoring. A raised console platform serves as the control station, equipped with a leaning post and security screens. Navigation lights are mounted on the console top, and a nine-inch Simrad chartplotter provides electronic navigation. Two solar-powered Riolink cameras offer live phone connectivity for monitoring.

Functional equipment includes a heavy-duty bilge pump rated at 1500 gallons per hour with automatic float switch, alongside non-skid paint on the working surfaces. An aluminum T-top measuring five by eight feet provides weather protection. The barge carries four large ship cleats, a swim ladder, two Bowmar aluminum deck hatches, and corner cap rail. Hull protection consists of barrier coat and antifouling paint applied to both sides and bottom. A complete USCG safety package and onboard battery system with cables and insulated box are included.
