The HH Catamarans OC 44 is a 44-foot carbon composite catamaran built for both performance and comfortable cruising. Its lightweight carbon epoxy construction with daggerboards and dual swing helm stations delivers responsive handling, while the hybrid electric and diesel drive system suits extended passages. The broad 23.5-foot beam provides generous interior volume and deck space.
The yacht accommodates multiple cabins with three heads throughout. A forward starboard cabin can be converted to a workshop or pantry space. Full-boat air conditioning, a 4.2-kilowatt solar panel installation on the cabin top, and a Schenker Zen100 watermaker support extended offshore operation. A JEFA autopilot system manages long-distance sailing. Side boarding gates at each helm station and Coppercoat antifoul treatment plus Propspeed protection on the propellers complete the package.
The sail plan is substantial and flexible, featuring Doyle Stratis mainsail, furling overlapping Solent jib, and furling reacher, with a Doyle furling gennaker for downwind work. The boat is set up with carbon fiber longerons and crossbeams that integrate an anchor box and chain wash. Hull and topsides are finished in Alexseal paint. Optional upgrades available include the EcoDrive hybrid power package enhancement, navigation integration, and self-tacking staysail preparation.
