2024 Intrepid 407 Nomad FE

The 2024 Intrepid 407 Nomad FE is a 40-foot fiberglass center console built for serious fishing and family cruising. It's powered by three Mercury 400 V10 engines delivering 1,200 horsepower combined, with only 220 hours on the engines and Mercury Platinum warranties extending to June 2031. The fuel capacity has been upgraded to 600 gallons, and the boat includes a Vetus bow thruster for enhanced maneuverability.

The layout combines fishing capability with recreational comfort. The boat features a forward custom lounge seat with an insulated coffin box, hi-low table with filler cushion, and forward lounge seats with actuated backrests. A fold-down rear bench seat and starboard fold-down step add flexibility to the aft deck. The swing-in dive door with fold-out ladder and actuated helm deck are practical touches for family use.

Fishing systems are comprehensive: the boat carries a Taco 390 Grand Slam outrigger system with 16-foot carbon fiber poles, seven custom rod holders in the splash well, six rod holders aft of the hardtop, and port and starboard transom baitwells with windows. An upgraded Frigid Rigid cooler sits under the helm seat.

Electronics include dual Garmin 8616 displays, Garmin GMR 424 xHD2 open array radar, Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot with GHC 20 control, FUSION Apollo stereo with JL Audio speakers and amplifier, and ICOM VHF radio. Exterior lighting includes forward light bar, dual electric trumpet horns, and two rear-facing underwater lights. Custom diamond pattern upholstery throughout completes the package.
