2024 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380

The 2024 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 is a 38-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built for both performance and onboard comfort. Recognized as Sail magazine's "Best Monohull Cruising Boat Under 40ft" in 2022, the boat combines a generous 12.25-foot beam with walk-around deck design and a shoal-draft keel, making it suitable for varied cruising grounds and easy maneuvering in tight anchorages.

Below deck, the Sun Odyssey 380 offers a two-cabin, one-head layout with a spacious saloon. The wide beam is carried aft to create generous cockpit and interior spaces. A folding saloon table, air conditioning with reverse-cycle heat, and electric flush heads contribute to extended-stay comfort. An inverter provides shore-independence power.

Power comes from a Yanmar 40 HP diesel engine paired with a three-blade folding propeller. A bow thruster aids handling under power. The mainsail features in-mast furling for ease of operation.

Navigation and communication systems include a Raymarine Axiom 7 touchscreen GPS, external VHF handset, and a full suite of electronics. Deck features encompass a fold-down swim platform with telescopic ladder, folding cockpit table with wooden leaves, teak cockpit floor, in-boom downwind pack, cockpit shower with hot and cold water, and an anchoring and mooring kit. The boat is equipped with an Excellence pack and Ocean electronic pack as part of its build specification.
