The 2024 Lagoon 51 is a modern luxury catamaran built for extended cruising, combining a stable, wide-beam design with contemporary comfort. At 51 feet in length and 26.7 feet in beam, the fiberglass hull is powered by two 160 hp Yammer diesel engines with 590 hours of operation. The boat accommodates up to four double cabins including a master suite, three bathrooms, and generous shared living spaces across both hulls.
The layout centers on a flowing connection between the aft cockpit and main saloon, with an expansive flybridge featuring helm station, seating, and sunbeds, plus a forward lounge area. The master cabin includes a dressing area, and a washer/dryer is installed. Sails include a battened mainsail, furling genoa, and parasailor with full deck equipment. Sun shades cover the flybridge and aft cockpit, offering practical sun and light rain protection while remaining packable.
Systems include air conditioning in each cabin and saloon, an 11 kW Onan generator, 2 kW inverter, bow thruster, and a 12V/220V seawater desalination system. Three 140 Ah service batteries are supported by dual battery chargers and shore power at 60 A. Electric marine toilets, lifeline gates, life jackets, automatic fire extinguishers, and cabin-mounted fire safety equipment are fitted throughout.
Interior refinements include teak passage steps, Corian shower finishes, faux leather accents and storage, custom salon window shades, an electric convertible table, indirect cabin and salon lighting, and a Fusion Apollo sound system with six speakers across the flybridge, cockpit, and saloon. Additional amenities include a second freezer, Raymarine camera, electric seawater pump, and portholes in the galley and aft cabins.
