2024 Ranger Tugs R-27

The 2024 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 27-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single 300-horsepower Yamaha four-stroke engine. Built around exploration and comfort, the boat features Ranger Tugs' patented dinghy lift system—a stainless steel davit that deploys and retrieves an included RIB inflatable in seconds while keeping the swim platform clear. The open cabin design maximizes views and natural light, with an emphasis on connecting interior spaces to the water and sky.

The galley includes a propane stove with oven and broiler, microwave, refrigerator-freezer, and pull-out faucet sink. Climate control comes from a Wabasto diesel heater. Below deck, sleeping arrangements comprise a private forward stateroom, a convertible dinette, and a mid-berth cave that serves as either additional sleeping quarters or storage.

Systems reflect modern cruising priorities. A lithium LiFePO4 house battery bank supports extended off-grid stays. A 220-watt bifacial solar panel charges from both direct sun and reflected light off the cabin top. Navigation and helm control center on a Garmin 8612xsv chartplotter with engine data overlay and autopilot remote capability. The boat comes with an included RIB tender and lift system.
