The Sportsman Open 282TE is a 28-foot center console built for serious fishing in open water. The layout prioritizes angler access with a bow designed specifically for working the deck. A forward chaise lounge coffin box offers both comfort and practical storage, while a large leaning post with integrated livewell keeps bait and catch fresh throughout the day.

The helm features two captain's chairs positioned for visibility and control. Navigation and boat systems are handled by a Garmin 12-inch GPS chartplotter and Maximus Digital Switching, giving the operator full command of the boat's electrical functions and engine systems from the helm station.

The design delivers 360-degree fishability, allowing multiple anglers to work the boat from various positions without crowding or interference.
