2026 Sportsman Open 282 Center Console

The 2026 Sportsman Open 282 is a 28-foot center console built on an aluminum hull. Power comes from twin Yamaha F200XSA2 outboards delivering 400 horsepower, paired with a tandem axle trailer equipped with brakes on both axles. The boat has a beam of 118 inches and a fuel capacity of 230 gallons.

The console includes a full suite of Garmin electronics: a 16-inch GPSMAP MFD with Bluechart G3, Apollo RA770 premium stereo with Spotify integration, GT17M transducer, and VHF 115 radio. Navigation features include a Yamaha autopilot and Seakeeper Ride Vacs for improved handling. A Seastar Interact DCM digital switching system with keypad controls engine and trim functions.
