The Steiger Craft 31 Fisherman is a purpose-built offshore fishing boat built on a fiberglass hull 31 feet long and 10 feet across the beam. Twin Yamaha 300-horsepower engines power the boat, supported by a 325-gallon fuel capacity that provides over 450 miles of range. The cockpit is designed around serious fishing, with two oversized in-deck fish boxes, a large transom livewell, and extensive tackle storage throughout.
The pilothouse features a starboard helm station with shock-absorbing captain's chairs on both sides and bench seating aft, all built for heavy-duty fishing use. Additional gear and tackle storage runs throughout the pilothouse. Below deck, the cabin layout prioritizes fishing functionality—the berth has been enlarged by removing the enclosed head typically found on the 31DV model, though a marine head, fans, LED lighting, and storage remain installed.
Equipment includes a Lone Star drum winch with 450 feet of rode, a Minn Kota Quest Instinct trolling motor with dedicated lithium power, Seakeeper stabilization, Starlink connectivity, and a comprehensive Simrad electronics suite. The boat carries full safety systems. Both Yamaha and Seakeeper warranties are included, and a 100-hour service was completed in fall 2025.
