2024 World Cat 280 CC-X

The 2024 World Cat 280 CC-X is a 27.5-foot fiberglass catamaran built for stable, comfortable cruising and day trips. Twin Yamaha 200-horsepower engines deliver performance and efficiency, with fewer than 80 hours on them. The boat reaches speeds up to 40 knots and cruises comfortably at 25 knots. Its wide 9-foot beam and dual-hull design provide the stability and space that define the catamaran experience.

The helm station commands the water with dual 12-inch Garmin GPSMAP displays, power steering, and an integrated hard top with spreader lights. The console houses a marine head with fresh water system and holding tank, fitted with Corian countertop and storage. Twin sport helm seats with flip-up bolsters face a fiberglass-lined dash. Below, a 30-gallon livewell with magnetic pump sits in the tackle center, backed by multi-compartment storage and a battery management system. The Fusion marine stereo with four speakers and Bluetooth rounds out the electronics package.

Forward seating accommodates seven across deluxe cushions with contrast stitching and integrated backrests. The bow features high-intensity LED docking lights, anchor locker with washdown hose, stainless steel grab rail, insulated storage compartments totaling more than 500 quarts, and personal cooler areas under both gunwales. A through-hull electric windlass with 300 feet of line and 22-pound polished anchor simplifies anchoring.

The stern includes insulated port and starboard fishboxes, commercial-grade dive ladder, walk-through transom door, and fold-down seating for two. Eight rod holders—four gunwale-mounted and four transom-mounted—plus fresh and raw water washdowns complete the fishing setup. The boat sits on a white hull with white powder coating throughout.
