2025 World Cat 280 DC-X

The 2025 World Cat 280 DC-X is a dual-console catamaran powered by twin Mercury 225 HP outboards with only 35 hours of engine time. The fiberglass hull measures 27.5 feet in length with a 9.17-foot beam, delivering stable handling and a cruising speed of 30 knots with a top speed of 42.5 knots.

Navigation and boat handling are managed through an Optimus 360 Joystick Control system paired with Seaways Autopilot, simplifying both docking and cruising. Electronics include a Garmin GPSMAP 1234xsv multifunction display, Airmar B175M thru-hull transducer, and Icom VHF marine radio. The boat is fitted with LED underwater lights and a canvas bow cover extending from hardtop to cleats.

Powertrain coverage includes Mercury's MPP Gold warranty through June 2032. The 280 DC-X is designed for diverse use including cruising, entertaining, and fishing, with the catamaran's hull form prioritizing comfort and stability on the water.
