2025 Arkhaus Villa 50

The 2025 Arkhaus Villa 50 is a 50-foot solar-electric catamaran built on fiberglass hulls and designed by Waterstudio NL. The boat features a hydraulic elevation system that lifts the entire hull out of the water, creating a stable, land-like living platform while reducing maintenance demands. When the hydraulic terraces extend, the beam widens from 18 feet to 34 feet, revealing over 1,000 square feet of open-air deck space. The design balances architectural presence with genuine marine capability suited to Intracoastal navigation.

Interior living spans 615 square feet of climate-controlled space on the lower deck, complemented by another 615 square feet on the rooftop. The upper deck functions as a dedicated summer lounge with an integrated kitchen featuring an electric grill, sink, and icemaker. Electric roll-down enclosures extend seasonal usability by providing weather protection. The main accommodation includes one bedroom and one bathroom with a full shower, plus an outdoor shower. The galley is equipped with a custom island, Miele cooktop, dual Miele refrigerators, and commercial-grade Hobart dishwasher and ice maker. Cabinetry throughout is German-engineered Häcker with thoughtful storage integration.

Propulsion comes from a 50kW electric azimuthing pod drive and 10kW bow thruster powered by a 75kWh lithium battery bank fed by a 12kW rooftop solar array. The boat cruises at 5 knots with a maximum speed of 6 knots, operating near-silently with minimal environmental impact. At 4 knots, solar generation fully offsets propulsion consumption. Generator and shore power systems provide operational flexibility.

Premium features include an 8-zone Sonos audio system with 14 speakers and dual subwoofers, a 4-camera Lorex wireless security system, three-zone air conditioning, full-length fendering for safe raft-up capability, and onboard Verizon Wi-Fi. The boat has been professionally maintained, with bottom paint applied to minimize marine buildup.
