The C-Catamarans 48 is a lightweight performance cruising catamaran built by Comar Yachts near Rome. Hull construction combines vacuum-infused epoxy resin over multiaxial fiberglass and unidirectional carbon fabrics with Corecell sandwich core, while the deck is full carbon-infused Corecell sandwich with carbon composite primary bulkheads. The carbon mast features swept spreaders and pairs with an aluminum Park Avenue-style boom, rod forestay, and Dyform standing rigging. Two fully adjustable carbon daggerboards allow variable draft for shallow-water anchoring or high-pointing performance.
Accommodation centers on two queen cabins, a dedicated office, and two heads with separate showers. The layout balances cruising capability with guest entertainment and shorthanded handling in mind.
Power comes from two 94 hp Nanni diesel engines paired with Flex-O-Fold folding propellers. Systems include a full Raymarine electronics suite with autopilot, radar, and AIS; a 900Ah 24V Victron lithium battery bank with dual 5000w inverter/chargers; a 3.5kW Whisper Power generator; 2,000w walkable solar panels on the hardtop and 1,755w bi-facial panels over the davits; a Schenker watermaker; and 42,000 BTU air conditioning throughout. Sails include a square-top main, jib, genoa, Code 0, and spinnaker.
