The 2025 Elling E6 is a 65-foot ocean-class trawler built for extended cruising in open water and inland passages. Powered by twin Volvo Penta diesels—a 1000 horsepower main engine and a 75 horsepower auxiliary—the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 20 knots and cruises at 9 knots. The fiberglass hull carries substantial fuel capacity of 5,000 liters, 1,200 liters of fresh water, and 300 liters of waste tank capacity, supporting self-sufficient operation over long distances. A gyro stabilizer, bow and stern thrusters, and dual anchoring systems with 120 meters of chain enhance safety and control.
Below deck, three cabins sleep guests and crew, with three heads and shower compartments throughout. The layout includes an owner's suite with a king bed, forward guest cabin, and a third cabin with bunks. Common spaces comprise a full galley, lower saloon with natural light, and a pilothouse with helm controls. Finishes use quality wood trim and materials throughout.
Deck features include Flexiteek non-skid surfaces, a hydraulic tender garage, integrated sun deck forward, and an expansive aft platform. The yacht carries a hydraulic gangway for boarding access. Systems include Raymarine navigation equipment with plotters in the owner's cabin and aft, a generator, lithium service batteries, and dual inverter-chargers. Central heating, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and multiple camera and alarm systems are fitted throughout.
