2025 Fountaine Pajot MY5

The 2025 Fountaine Pajot MY5 is a 40-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS600 diesel engines producing 880 horsepower combined. The hull measures nearly 20 feet across the beam, and joystick control comes standard with the IPS propulsion package. This model was transferred under its own power from the French shipyard to Croatia, so engine hours reflect transit rather than typical operation.

Accommodation spans three cabins and two heads. The layout includes a galley with two induction hobs, combination microwave-oven, dishwasher, and a 160-liter fridge plus separate 60-liter cold storage. A 5-kilogram washing machine and wine cellar for 23 bottles are integrated into the interior. Two electric freshwater heads serve the owner's cabin and guest areas, with additional water capacity of 1,490 liters total across dual tanks and a heated supply system.

The flybridge is extensively appointed with a bimini hard top, dining table, galley unit with a Kenyon electric grill, and refrigeration. An aft hydraulic platform with natural teak decking accommodates loads to 400 kilograms. The cockpit features a removable table, dual capstans, and sun awning. Navigation includes dual GARMIN GPSMAP 12-inch displays, autopilot integration, AIS, and VHF with second handset. An 8-kilogram generator supports a full air-conditioning system rated at 40,000 BTU, while solar panels and a 3,000-watt inverter-charger round out the electrical infrastructure.
