2025 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440

The 2025 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440 is a new-generation cruising sailboat with a distinctive full-chine hull and scow bow design. The bow sails upright into the wind and rises across waves, creating a drier, more comfortable motion through swells. At 44 feet with a 14-foot beam, the yacht combines traditional Sun Odyssey sailing character with evolved hull geometry that balances buoyancy forward with efficient water passage.

Power comes from a single 57 hp Yanmar diesel engine, with cruising speeds around 8 knots and maximum speeds reaching 8.75 knots. The boat handles well under sail, aided by full-length side decks with inclined "walk around" design that connects twin helm stations directly to the bow.

The interior features three cabins with two heads, each cabin fitted with true rectangular berths and generous headroom throughout.
