2025 Leopard 42
About This Yacht
The Leopard 42 is a new fiberglass catamaran designed by Simonis Voogd and built by Robertson & Caine. Measuring 41.67 feet overall with a 23.10-foot beam, the yacht pairs sailing performance with comfortable cruising accommodations. The exterior features continuous hull-side windows, a hardtop, and a signature upper-lounge area that extends the usable living space beyond what typical designs of this size offer. The interior benefits from generous natural light through optimized window placement, including an aft starboard window at the helm and a saloon skylight.
The accommodations comprise three cabins and three heads arranged with all-island berths accessible from both sides—a design that maximizes flexibility. Each cabin has an ensuite head with its own dedicated shower area, a feature uncommon in catamarans of this class. The galley is forward-facing and L-shaped, designed to integrate the cooking area into the social space of the boat.
Propulsion comes from two Yanmar diesel engines producing 90 horsepower each. The electrical system includes 850 watts of solar panels and is supplemented by two 12,000 BTU Dometic air-conditioning units for climate control. A Highfield 3.10 tender with console rounds out the equipment, powered by a 20 HP Tohatsu outboard engine.
