2025 Maverick 17 HPX-S

The 2025 Maverick 17 HPX-S is a 17'8" shallow-water flats boat built on a fiberglass hull with a 6-foot beam. Powered by a Yamaha 70 hp engine paired with a stainless three-blade Speed Match propeller, it draws only 6 inches of water—enabling access to skinny flats, backwaters, and mangrove creeks. The boat is fitted with a jackplate and blinker switch controls for precise trim adjustment and shallow-water maneuvering.

The deck layout centers on serious fishing capability. A 39-inch tower poling platform sits aft, with a removable bow casting platform forward. Undergunnel rod storage runs the length of the boat with fore and aft tubes for protection, while console rod racks are positioned port and starboard. The design emphasizes minimal profile and stealth for wade and poling applications.

Standard equipment includes hydraulic tilt steering and recessed trim tabs. An Ameritrail swing tongue trailer with Dry Launch Pro package and spare tire with mount is included. The fiberglass construction and purposeful layout support all-day fishing operations in extreme shallow water.
