The 2026 Hewes Redfisher 18 is a mid-sized flats boat built with vacuum infusion hull construction for reduced weight and increased strength. The boat runs on a single gasoline engine and is designed to handle both shallow backcountry waters and open-water conditions. Its 18-foot length and 7-foot beam offer the balance of portability and seaworthiness that has made this model a workhorse for fishing guides and backcountry anglers.
The layout features a dedicated anchor locker and a console with space for flush-mounted electronics up to 12 inches. A poling platform with a 40-inch tower includes an integrated backrest and step for safe, comfortable poling runs. The aft center includes a 23.5-gallon livewell with recirculation system, and additional rod storage runs along the gunwels and console. Cushioned seating is provided at the helm and console, with a self-bailing cockpit design.
Equipment includes LED navigation and cockpit lighting, a fused switch panel with waterproof switches, a compass, flush-mount cleats, and a windshield with grab rail. Rod tubes, clamp-on rod holders, and undergunnel rod racks support fishing operations. The boat comes on a Hewes trailer with black and silver wheel upgrade, spare tire, and swing tongue.
The hull is finished in solid white with grey and black faux teak accents on the poling platform and undergunnel. Black caulking, a black rub rail with stainless steel insert, and matte black powder coating complete the styling.
