The Nautitech 44 Open is a modern fiberglass catamaran built for comfortable cruising. Powered by twin 100-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines, she reaches 8 knots at top speed and maintains 5 knots in cruising trim. Her 43-foot length and 24-foot beam provide a stable platform with good interior volume for extended voyages.
The layout follows an owner's version configuration with two private cabins and two heads. The port hull houses a full owner's suite with generous storage and ensuite bathroom. The starboard hull contains a guest cabin with its own bathroom, plus a multipurpose room that provides flexible space for storage, galley extension, or workshop use. The forepeak remains accessible for gear stowage or alternative purposes.
The galley features extensive counter space, numerous drawers, large refrigeration, and a dishwasher. The boat is equipped with upgraded Hydranet sails and a complete wardrobe including a gennaker and Code Zero. For self-sufficiency, she carries a watermaker, diesel generator, air conditioning system, and 2,400 watts of solar panels. Twin Volvo Penta engines have approximately 250 hours of running time and remain under manufacturer warranty.
