The NorthCoast 285 HT is a 32-foot pilothouse built for serious coastal and offshore work. Twin Yamaha engines deliver 600 horsepower, with a top speed of 57 mph and cruising efficiency of 24 mph at 3,500 rpm on 14 gallons per hour, yielding a range of roughly 290 nautical miles on the boat's 216-gallon fuel capacity. The fiberglass hull features a 23-degree deadrise with aggressive lifting strakes, designed to plane quickly and deliver a dry, comfortable ride in variable conditions. High freeboard and a flared bow provide solid handling and confidence in rough water.

The layout blends traditional New England fishing boat design with practical accommodations. Below decks, the boat sleeps four with an aft berth and includes a private head. Wooden drawer faces and wood veneer detailing on the head compartment reflect quality in the finish.
