The NorthCoast 285 HT is a 32-foot pilothouse built for serious fishing and offshore work. Twin Yamaha engines deliver 600 horsepower combined, and the hull is engineered with a 23-degree dead rise and aggressive lifting strakes for quick planing, dry running conditions, and confident handling in variable weather. The boat carries 216 gallons of usable fuel and cruises at 24 mph while burning 14 gallons per hour, giving a range of roughly 290 nautical miles. The flared bow and high freeboard are built to manage rough Atlantic conditions typical of New England grounds.
Below deck, the layout accommodates four berths with an aft sleeping area, suiting both fishing crews and families. A private head compartment features wood veneer detailing, and the galley and living spaces are outfitted with traditional wooden drawer faces and finishes that blend New England style with modern systems. The boat is configured for both fishing efficiency and cruising comfort.
Factory options include Yamaha autopilot and joystick control for hands-free maneuvering, rocket launchers mounted to the hardtop, an electric head, and a folding cockpit seat. This is a new arrival.
