The 2025 Ranger Tugs R-23 is a 23-foot fiberglass trawler built for trailerable cruising. Powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha outboard, it combines compact proportions with thoughtful interior planning. The boat features an extended swim platform at the stern and an open cockpit that transitions into an enclosed salon through retractable glass panels.
The single cabin includes a dinette with flexible seating that converts between dining and underway orientations. The aft salon wall is formed of large glass windows that open fully, allowing additional seating configurations. A Teak & Holly EVA foam non-skid covers the deck areas. The hull is finished in Midnight Blue.
Equipment includes a 200-watt solar panel with controller, 175-watt inverter, air conditioning with reverse-cycle heating for dockside use, and a bow thruster. Navigation and anchoring systems comprise a Garmin xHD radar, electric windlass with bow and helm controls, and a complete anchor package with an 11-pound anchor, 50 feet of 1/4-inch chain, and 150 feet of 3/8-inch line. Additional features are underwater lights and a macerator discharge. The windows use Phifertex material rather than Sunbrella.
