The 2025 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 25-foot fiberglass trawler built around thoughtful design and practical cruising. A defining feature is the extended swim platform with handrails that run aft of the outboard motor, creating clear deck space free of engine obstruction. This layout enables safe boarding from dinghies, easy access to low docks, and simplified med-tying—all without risk to the outboard or awkward leaps to shore.
The main salon is bright and open, with a dinette that seats four and converts to a bed for two. A spacious quarter berth with removable mattress provides additional sleeping space or storage. The galley includes an electric/alcohol cooktop, refrigerator/freezer combo, microwave, and sink with hot and cold water. A private, enclosed head with sink completes the core accommodations.
The forward stateroom offers a large bed, opening hatches for ventilation, reading lights, and a TV/DVD combo. Power comes from a single Yamaha 250 hp outboard matched to a planning hull. The boat features patented Laminar Flow Interrupter technology for smooth cornering and is equipped with a Garmin 1242xsv chartplotter with GPS, transducer, and sonar. The R-25 is trailerable, making it accessible for cruising and storage.
