The 2025 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 31-foot fiberglass pocket cruiser powered by a single 300 hp Yamaha outboard engine. With just 62 hours on the motor, this new-build trawler delivers the efficiency and capability this model is known for, combining manageable size with serious offshore potential in a compact platform.
The boat is finished in Midnight Blue and equipped with a full suite of modern electronics: a Garmin 8612xsv chartplotter with integrated sonar and Xhd radar, plus Garmin autopilot with remote control. For power management, it carries a lithium battery upgrade and 175-watt solar panel, paired with an inverter to support air conditioning and reverse-cycle heating. Navigation and anchoring are backed by a complete anchor package with 16.5-pound anchor, 50 feet of chain, and 200 feet of line.
Living spaces feature air conditioning and heating, a propane stove, and a 12-volt cockpit refrigerator. An aft-cockpit sun shade with sunset shade provides weather protection, while teak and holly EVA foam traction decking runs across the working areas. Additional equipment includes a macerator, underwater lights, and a bridge clearance of 8 feet 6 inches with the mast down. Tankage consists of 150 gallons of fuel, 40 gallons of fresh water, and a 30-gallon holding tank.
