2025 Ranger Tugs R-29 CB

The 2025 Ranger Tugs R-29 Command Bridge is a 29-foot fiberglass trawler built around an open helm philosophy. Powered by a single Volvo diesel engine of 320 horsepower, the boat combines cruising capability with thoughtful design suited to Great Lakes and inland waterway operation.

The R-29 CB features an elevated command bridge accessed by teak steps from the aft cockpit. The bridge seats four and carries a full suite of controls: VHF radio, bow and stern thruster switches, engine controls, spotlight remote, lighted compass, and provision for optional Garmin autopilot and navigation. The bridge includes grab rails, 12-volt power, cupholders, and weatherproof speakers. Below, the modern salon benefits from a curved front window and overhead glass atrium for strong sightlines from the helm station.

The aft cockpit showcases flexible seating with a reversible centerline seat, port and starboard jump seats, and a teak dining table. An opening cabin bulkhead with its own reversible seat expands cockpit seating while maintaining indoor-outdoor flow. The boat includes one head and is built with straightforward, durable construction focused on comfortable coastal and inland cruising rather than performance or speed records.
