The Sunreef 55 Ultima is a luxury motor catamaran blending the dynamic performance of a monohull with the living space and fuel efficiency typical of a multihull. The design introduces a sporty, elegant hull form with folding side platforms and a full walkaround deck that maximizes usable space and interior flow. Twin Volvo D8 IPS 800 engines deliver 1,600 horsepower, enabling a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 39 knots. The compact beam of 5.6 metres folds to 7.6 metres, and the shallow 0.9-metre draft suits varied cruising grounds.

The half-open saloon layout includes an owner's suite, guest cabin, and a third cabin for additional guests or crew. The interior philosophy emphasizes the connection between inside and outside spaces, with generous social areas forward, on the flybridge, and at the swim platform. A bow thruster, synthetic teak decking, and air conditioning ensure ease of handling and comfort in varied climates.

Equipment includes a 40-litre desalination system, a 3,000-watt inverter with eight power outlets, and a 9-kilowatt generator. Navigation is supported by Raymarine Axiom XL 12-inch electronics and a premium Fusion Apollo sound system. The boat carries 1,500 litres of fuel, 300 litres of fresh water, and has capacity for 40 litres of waste. Joystick control streamlines docking and close-quarter maneuvering.
