2028 HH Catamarans HH56
About This Yacht
The HH56 is a 51-foot composite catamaran built entirely in carbon fiber with epoxy infusion, designed by Morrelli & Melvin for bluewater cruising. The SCF configuration positions the helm forward, providing the skipper with exceptional visibility and control across all conditions. The design prioritizes short-handed sailing ease while maintaining the responsive feel the builder is known for.
Power comes from an innovative EcoDrive hybrid system pairing electric drives with high-efficiency diesel gensets. This setup delivers quiet propulsion and regeneration under sail, significantly reducing fuel consumption. The system enables silent anchoring with hotel loads powered by lithium batteries and solar panels, offering true self-sufficiency for extended cruising.
The interior accommodates four cabins and four heads. The owner's suite spans the full beam, while three additional guest cabins provide spacious accommodation. The main salon features 360-degree visibility with a seamless transition to the cockpit, finished throughout with lightweight luxury materials. Cruising speed reaches 8 knots with a maximum speed of 10 knots.
