The XR 41 is a new racing yacht from X-Yachts, designed by the builder's in-house team in collaboration with experienced racing partners and designers. The boat won the 2025 ORC World Championships and is built for competitive performance across major ORC and IRC regattas. The hull will plane in as little as 14 knots of wind, with a cruising speed of 7 knots and maximum speed of 7.5 knots under power.
The boat measures 41.8 feet in length with a 13.75-foot beam. It is constructed from fiberglass and powered by a single 29.5-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The layout includes two cabins and one head, providing basic accommodation alongside its racing focus.
X-Yachts has a history of designing dominant racing yachts in the ORC class, including earlier models such as the XP 44, X-41, IMX 38, IMX 40, and IMX 45. The XR 41 follows this lineage while incorporating elements of cruising comfort alongside its race-winning design.
