The Albemarle 53 Spencer Edition is a 53-foot sportfishing yacht built on a Carolina-style hull using advanced vacuum-infused fiberglass construction with vinylester resin and composite core. Developed through collaboration with Spencer Sportfish, the design combines custom performance and styling with production-platform efficiency. Twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines rated at 1150 horsepower each provide the power for offshore performance, with an optional upgrade to MTU 10V engines at 1600 horsepower available for higher cruising speeds.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates three staterooms and two heads with refined finishes throughout. The galley is fully equipped with a cooktop, microwave and convection oven, and dual refrigerator and freezer drawers. The salon features an L-shaped sofa, dinette, wet bar, and home theater system, with handcrafted horizontal-grain walnut cabinetry throughout.
The flybridge centers on an island helm console with walk-around access to forward lounge seating and bench seating. The helm supports large multi-display navigation systems and includes dedicated space for Furuno Omni sonar technology. Pipewelders Marine towers and Release Marine helm chairs are included.
The cockpit offers 160 square feet of fishing space with a large transom fishbox, wide transom door, and a mezzanine with multiple storage boxes for bait freezers, coolers, and ice storage. Teak decking, fighting chairs, and rocket launchers are available as options. Additional systems include a 21 kW Cummins Onan generator, dedicated pump room, and optional upgrades such as a Seakeeper 9, watermaker, and ice chipper.
