2026 Arkhaus Villa 50

The Arkhaus Villa 50 is a 50-foot solar-electric catamaran designed by Waterstudio NL, built on fiberglass composite hulls with a distinctive hydraulic elevation system that lifts the entire boat above the waterline. This engineering approach delivers stability and reduces marine growth while minimizing maintenance demands. The beam expands from 18 feet to 34 feet when the hydraulic terraces extend, creating over 1,000 square feet of open-air deck space. The yacht is equipped with a 12kW rooftop solar array powering a 75kWh lithium battery bank, paired with a 50kW electric azimuthing pod drive and 10kW bow thruster for precise maneuvering. Cruising speed is 5 knots with a top speed of 6 knots; at 4 knots, the solar panels generate enough power to offset propulsion consumption entirely.

The interior spans 615 square feet of climate-controlled living space on the lower deck, with an additional 615 square feet on the upper rooftop deck. The upper deck functions as a fully appointed summer lounge with a built-in kitchen featuring an electric grill, sink, and icemaker, complemented by electric roll-down enclosures for weather protection. The current hospitality configuration can be converted to a private 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom residence with full shower; an outdoor shower is already integrated.

The galley features a custom kitchen island, Miele cooktop, dual Miele refrigerators, Hobart commercial dishwasher, and Hobart commercial ice maker. Cabinetry throughout is by Häcker, the German brand known for precision construction and intelligent storage solutions. Interior comfort is supported by a 3-zone air conditioning system and upgraded mechanical space cooling.

Additional systems include an 8-zone Sonos audio system with 14 speakers and dual subwoofers, a 4-camera Lorex wireless security system, and a Verizon Wi-Fi router for reliable connectivity. A full-length fendering system permits safe rafting alongside other vessels. The boat has been professionally maintained and bottom-painted to minimize marine buildup.
