The HH44 SC is a 50-foot sailing catamaran built in composite, powered by twin 110 hp Yanmar diesel engines with hybrid electric drive for efficient motoring. The design emphasizes performance and cruising comfort, with carbon construction throughout the mast, sails, and structural elements—including the longeron, crossbeam, and Pelican Striker—to minimize weight and maximize strength.

The boat sleeps six across three cabins and one head. The layout includes a spacious salon, galley, and navigation station. The forward starboard cabin has been converted into a workshop and pantry with a Vitrifrigo refrigerator and charging sockets. Accommodation features include air conditioning throughout, a washer-dryer combo, additional freezer storage in the starboard hull, and extensive galley equipment. Folding dining tables with adjustable legs and generous storage lockers optimize interior space, while three high-quality Caframo gimbal fans provide ventilation.

The yacht is equipped with a comprehensive Raymarine B&G navigation suite: three 12-inch Zeus touchscreen displays, dual Triton2 autopilot systems for redundancy, Halo20+ radar, V60 VHF radio, AIS, and precision compass integration. Additional electronics include a 24-inch monitor at the nav station, docking camera on the port spreader, and wireless autopilot remote. Large lithium batteries power the hybrid system, supplemented by extensive solar panels with a 32-zone Genasun charging regulator for optimized harvesting in low-light conditions. The 48-volt electrical architecture supports an 8kVA inverter for simultaneous operation of air-conditioning and watermaker; global shore power adapters enable charging worldwide. Dual 48-volt electric Antal line drivers enable push-button daggerboard control at both helms.

Sail equipment includes North Sails carbon fiber sails—mainsail with three reefs and lazy jacks, furling Solent jib, self-tacking staysail, and furling gennaker. Harken electric Performa winches provide two-speed operation with foot controls. Additional performance features include shaft cutters on both propellers, secondary anchor with extra chain, saltwater deck wash system, dual fuel polishing filters, and extensive exterior canvas protection. The boat is finished in Wednesday Purple metallic with cloud white bootstripe, Flexiteek in the aft cockpit, and Coppercoat antifoul with Propspeed propeller coating. Underwater LED lights, spreader lights, trampoline lights, and davit lights provide comprehensive nighttime visibility.
