The Back Cove 34O is a fiberglass downeast yacht powered by twin Mercury Verado outboards producing 800 horsepower combined. Her hull incorporates Back Cove's proprietary Trailing Edge Lifting Surface (TRELIS) design, which planes quickly and efficiently while requiring less power than conventional hulls. She reaches speeds exceeding 40 knots and carries a cruising range far beyond her size class.
The cockpit prioritizes comfort and social gathering. An aft-facing seat converts to additional salon seating, while a mate's chair to port transforms into part of a U-shaped settee when the seatback slides forward at anchor. The helm offers 360-degree visibility through large opening windows. On deck to starboard and aft of the wheel sits a fully equipped galley with convection microwave, two-burner electric cooktop, and generous storage.
Below, the cabin features a queen-sized island berth with storage drawers and outboard shelves. Aft of the berth is a split head and shower. A sizable storage locker beneath the salon sole accommodates provisions and water toys. The yacht is fitted with joystick control for precision maneuvering.
