The 2026 Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 is a 42-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built for both family and offshore sailing. Powered by a single Yanmar 4JH45 diesel engine of 45 hp, the boat combines performance with ease of handling. The design features a cast-iron keel in GTE configuration and includes twin control stations—one to starboard and one to port—each outfitted with Raymarine navigation electronics.
The accommodation plan offers three cabins and two heads. The interior features Alpi oak sand wood trim throughout, with Noah 05 Ivory upholstery in the saloon. The galley includes a front-opening refrigerator and compact sink setup. Lighting is indirect LED in the saloon, and the electrical system comprises a full 230V circuit with a 60-amp charger and two 100 Ah AGM batteries. USB ports are installed in the saloon and each cabin. An additional 330-liter water tank augments the fresh water supply, and hot and cold water is available at the cockpit shower. Electric heads with Quiet Flush systems serve both forward and aft cabins.
The boat is well equipped for sailing across a range of conditions. The Upwind and Downwind package includes dual H46.2 STA sheet winches with extra control blocks, a polyester spinnaker pole with integrated anchor system, a Code 0 and symmetric spinnaker, sheet rails along the toe rails, and a Dacron jib on a roller furler. An electric bow thruster with dedicated batteries and a retractable propeller aid maneuvering. The Escape package adds an electric-opening swim platform, a luxury cockpit table in solid wood with charging and storage, a Fusion RA210 audio system with interior and exterior speakers, and port and starboard companionway openings. The Offshore Raymarine suite includes a 9-inch Axiom+ touchscreen at the helm, a 7-inch Axiom+ at the port station, GPS chartplotter with Navionics+, wind instrumentation, an autopilot, VHF radio with AIS, and wireless autopilot remote control.
Additional equipment includes an electric windlass with remote control and chain counter, electric sheet winch, reinforced composite wheel helms, a full ground tackle kit, three-blade folding propeller, Savane Nimbus cockpit cushions, cabin portholes with screens and pleated blinds, and a place setting for six. A shore water connection and dinghy bag are included. The cockpit features Iro-Deck flooring and latticed steering seat.
