The 2026 Blackfin 242 HB is a 24-foot center console designed as a hybrid bay boat, balancing offshore capability with shallow-water versatility. Built with advanced carbon fiber hull laminate and closed-mold fiberglass construction, the boat features a hull design engineered for a smooth, stable ride in varied conditions. The fiberglass construction includes a vinylester barrier coat and closed-cell foam floatation for durability and safety.

The cockpit is arranged for fishing and cruising, with dual insulated baitwells—one 30-gallon unit aft and a 10-gallon bow well—plus a 45-quart Yeti cooler. Storage throughout includes in-floor compartments, and the self-bailing cockpit liner with non-skid surface keeps the working deck functional. Seating spans the boat: removable bow backrests with cushions, forward-facing console seating, helm seats with flip-up bolsters and armrests, and a foldaway transom bench. Eight stainless steel drink holders and blue and white LED courtesy lighting round out the social spaces.

The helm features a Garmin 1243XSV multifunction display with integrated digital switching and engine monitoring, a stainless steel steering wheel with power-assisted tilt, and dual 12V outlets with USB charging. Trim tabs with auto-retract and indicators aid handling and comfort.
